Is there a tour version?

I've noticed that on the shirts I see Tiger and the other Nike boys wearing, there is an embroiderd swoosh on the front left breast of the shirt and left sleeve, but on the retail shirts the only swoosh I see is on the left sleeve, nothing on the front. Now I know tiger's line has the metal TW on the sleeve but there is still no swoosh on the front for the retail shirts, but you see it on him. Why would Nike do this?

For nike, there are 2 versions, what tiger himself wears, then there is what is sold to the general public. We will not be sold the exact same version TW wears. Tiger has his logo beneath his neck. You wont see that on shirts for sale at your local pro shop.

 

I have seen shirts on ebay with his logo on his neck, and they were clearly bootleg/fakes.

nike puts the logos on some of the mock necks on the neck. i know the longsleeve is on the neck. the short sleeve i think it can be in both depending on the different style or material.

 

as for the shirts, its not just a tiger thing. all the pros and staffers have it on the chest and the retails don't.

Also its for advertising purposes. If we were all on TV, they would cover us in their logo too.

Though on the newer tiger woods polos, there is just the metal emblem, no swoosh, no marks or anything to advertise their shirts, do i understand it no...

What I understand from our friends across the pond is the shirts that are retail and available to them do in fact have the swoosh on front and tw on the back. I actually have a few shirts that I got off of ebay that have the swoosh and tw symbol and they are NOT fake...however, most of the tw shirts I have do not have the swoosh nor the tw symbol. The Nike staffers have the swoosh, while Tiger has the Swoosh and TW symbol. I find it interesting that some of the Nike staffers, such as Stewart Cink, are wearing the TW shoes and TW shirts this year. You can clearly see he, along with others (but not all) have the metal tag on the sleeve which the '06 Tiger Woods shirts have, and he along with others are wearing TW SP-7 shoes this year as well. Last year, none of the Nike staffers I saw were wearing TW Shirts or Shoes, so maybe Tiger/Nike has agreed to allow them this year to wear it?

I have some of the Euro shirts as well. They are available you just have to keep your eye open for them.

The swoosh logo is the known as the tour swoosh, its just a bigger logo, kinda like the horse logo on the DL 3's shirts which is much bigger. My head pro at our club is part of Nike's Elite staff program so he has access to the tour logos both the swoosh and tigers, there is place in Orlando called "Thread Mill Industries" and they are authorized to put those put logos on shirts however you have to have written consent from nike.

That is false. The quality is the same, the only difference is the size of the logo
