695 mb, 695 cb, pro combo tour or bridgestone combo set

im planning on getting a new set of irons 2- PW and i was wondering on peoples opinions

What's your handicap? I'm just asking because the 695CB's aren't very forgiving and the 695MB's are even less forgiving in my opinion.

Have owned all, actually. My list of preference is the 695cb, pro combo tour, j33 combos, and 695mb. IMO, the 695cbs are not very demanding WITH THE RIGHT SHAFT. Due to their strong lofts, some may have trouble getting the right trajectory out of low launching shafts like the stock dgs300. I have tf rifles in mine, and find them to be the easiest swinging clubs I have owned to get a long, high trajectory shot shape. Feel is excellent.

Pro combo tours were an excellent set as well, and I would like to have compared them to the 695s with the same shafts. Mine had stock s300s, and were very playable with some forgiveness in the long irons. Also great feel.

Bridgestones had excellent feel - maybe the best of the group. However, I found them to be shorter throughout the set than the others, and had a tendency to balloon the long irons at times. A great set that I could put in the bag - especially if I had time to dial in some low spin shafts like PX or black gold. Cosmetically, not the prettiest, to me, but beauty s in the eye of the beholder, right?

As for the 695mb, I REALLY wanted to love these, but found them to be harsh at times and found them to be significantly more demanding than the cbs. Ball flight was lower for me. It was disappointing since my favorite set of all time was the 690mb. I was hoping for an improvement, but did not find it in the set I owned. Others may beg to idffer.
