TourEdge Exotics vs R7 425

Difference in distance,spin,flight,etc.

Can anyone give a first hand experience between these two drivers?I will either save money or save strokes based on the answers,,,either way is good.

Hello????? Is there anyone out there who can help? My main concern is distance comparison and ball flight ,,but I realize shaft has a lot to do with it,,I currently play a TM R7 425 with stock Reax stiff,10.5*,,soooooo how would the TE Exotics compare w/ stock stiff at 10*?

I have both in the same loft as yours, except reshafted both. R7 with v2, TEE with the comp nt.

First you are right the shaft makes a difference, the TEE is a touch more forgiving, but the the r7 is mcuh longer. So right now the r7 is firmly in the bag. R7 trajectory is mid high while the TEE is a touch higher.

With the stock shaft in both I would go with the r7 in both distance and trajectory. Good thing is both are coming down on prices on ebay

as a back up yes if you already own it :cheesy: since the prices have dropped if you paid full retail it would be hard to get any where that price if you plan to sell it. But you probably can find a used one for decent price. on the hype part yes when they first came out, but has since died down, same with the TEE 3wd.

I own both of these drivers. I have an Aldila NV65 reg flex shaft in both. The TEE is lighter than the R7 and that takes some getting used to. Quite frankly, I don't see much of difference in results between the two. All this means is that I've a nice looking backup leaning against the wall in my gargae no matter which one I play. The TEE does tend to fly a bit higher for me....
