Best course in San Antonio for a regular rate on Monday less than 40?

opinions please! I looked online for some listed in another post and they are all expensive!

Needs to be in San Antonio. Close to the medical school is preferred.

There aren't too many places under $40 but your best bet would probably to sign up for the Alamo City golf trail deal and walk Brackenridge or another one of the courses on it. I think Cedar Crest is on there too. Those are two pretty good courses not too far from the Medical Center.

Thanks. I found a place called Siverhorn for $44. It included breakfast, lunch, 2 draft beers, and a cart!

That's a pretty good deal. Be sure to let us know if that huge tree in the middle of the fairway on #1 ruins your first tee shot of the day.

Been waiting 20 years for lightning, fire, drought or mad golfer to rid the planet of that tree.

Silverhorn is a great track! If I can't play TPC next weekend when I'm coming over, I'll play at Republic on the south side (favorite course to play, anywhere), which can be had for a decent deal!

Played GC of Texas the last two Fridays while on vacation. $25 using GolfNow and I couldn't have been happier! Definitely worth a look as it's one of the nicer courses setup wise that I've been to. Some challenging holes and some rewarding ones as well. Played first a couple days after SA got rain, and it wasn't horrible. Second time out was even nicer.

Silverhorn or Olympia Hills is your best bet for under $40.00. Everything else in the $40.00 price range isn't in that good of shape. Silverhorn is closer to the Medical Center.
