Ebay and paypal question

Sold a set of callaway x tour with projectx shaft on ebay 3mths ago. After buyer receipt a set he claim that I did not enclose that's not shaft label on the shaft, although I did display it on the pciture I posted.

So he ask for partial refund of $100 to use to send in to pro shop to test a shaft frecuency, however I only offer a $50 refund. After few email exchange, buyer file claim to paypal then I decide to full refund and have him return the clubs to me.

Buyer refuse to return clubs to me during the claim process and after deadline, paypal had close the claim and no other action taken. And I didn't heard anythign from that buyer since then. So I though the case was close.

However I just a email from the buyer and now he said he will accept $50 refund. Should I still honor him or just ignore him? Any advice will help.

I would give him the $50 and move on.

NO WAY would I pay him a dime. You were trying to work it out and he filed a dispute. That coupled with the fact that pics were included in the auction suggest you did everything right. As far as 100 to get the freqed, he can just pull the grip on the three iron. The freq will still be there. No need to send them in...

I forget to enclose that this buyer offer me a less than my buy it now amount and ask me to clsoe the bid ealier, but I refuse so the buyer still bid the item at the last minute and win the bid.

To me, seem like this guy is try to take advantage of me and try to buy cheap, so I'm leaning not refund him now.

But can he still do anything trhough paypal or ebay?

My understanding is that once the dispute has been closed it cannot be re opened. So what most likely happened is that eBay took a look at his claim and told him to go chop wood.

 

It really seems like this guy is trying to be a hard-on about this whole thing, I wouldn't refund him a dime.
