PLEASE HELP!

I was on ebay and i found a nice Titleist 905S for 180, so i bought it. i have already payed for it. but before i bought the 905S, i put in a bid for a 905R for $255. not expecting to win a 905R at that price, i bought the 905S. now what should i do. i cant afford to get both. should i purchase them both, but then sell one. Please help. any help is appreciated. i didnt really buy these, my mom did. but, i showed her which ones i wanted.

Well, if they were purchased through ebay, than yes, you have to purchase both. Just see what one you like more and put the other one back up. You may not get the same amount you paid, but just figure that difference is your "demo" cost. Remember, next time, never bid on two items unless you're willing to take them both.

 

This happened to me regarding some high-end audio equipment. One of the auctions was actually gone before it ended, so I figured it was canceled. Two days later, I won. Luckily, I needed both amps anyway, though the wife didn't think so.

Don't stiff the 905R seller on the expectation that it will be relisted. Contact the seller and see if you can work something out. I had a right-handed friend who mistakenly purchased a left-handed club - he contacted the seller and got out of the deal amicably.

Than contact the seller to work something out and see if he will relist it and not give you a negative rating. Although it states that, he can still relist but with a neg. rating (esp. not paying for something), you will have a tough time purchasing again.

If you want to keep the 905R, hustle some lawn work this weekend to come up with enough dough to pay for them both. Then sell the one you don't want to keep.

 

Its fall, there's lots of lawn work to be done. Ask in your neighborhood if anyone needs help and you should be able to come up with $200 in no time.

Usually if you contact the seller and let him know your situation and offer to pay for his ebay fees (final value fee and maybe the relisting fee), most sellers won't give you a negative feedback or non-paying bidder alert b/c he's not out any money (just wasted some of his time).

 

Give that a try, it should work.

i emailed the guy who sold it to me. he was super nice about it and somehow contacted ebay and we are both agreeing not to pay for it. Super nice guy. thank you guys for helping me with this. this is the best site ever! everybody here is so helpful. :beach:
