NO NO NO! Why can't you be from the Seattle area </3. I need a playing partner!

On a better note, welcome to the site, its incredible, you'll enjoy it and learn a ton!

Thanks! You know, lurking on the site I read about a course I've never played. The Home Course. A couple of us might try and set up a time there soon. (next month or 2 depending on the weather) Is that a course you play?

I was born and raised in Castle Rock. I live in Salt Lake City now but my dad plays three rivers weekly.

Welcome to the site.

Thanks!
We're in Kelso (hence the name) and have a lot of very good friends in Castle Rock. Some I play golf with on occasion.
ANd, 3 Rivers is my home course. I am a member there. Small world..........
I've visited Salt Lake a few times and loved the place. Does the charm wear off living there?

The Home Course is a wonderful parkland track that drains great. Juniper GC in Redmond reminds me of a smaller version of THC for some reason.

You are pretty close to The Ceders GC in Brush Parrire; its a pretty good track, but not very good in the winter. Camas Meadows is a okay winter track. If you go to hot deals at Golfnow sometimes there are good deals at Camas Meadows.

(lol) SLC, I was raised there. Went graduated from Judge Memorial, went to U of U and graduated from Weber St, and "yes" the charm does wear off. I do miss Little Cottonwood canyon and doing backcountry in the Wasatch.

I used to play Cedars years ago pretty regular. I played Camas Meadows once about 7 years ago and really liked it but it was expensive then. I've never used Golfnow, thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out!
BTW, since your in Portland, have you ever played Red Tail? My cousin is the Course Super, but I have never got down there to play. Just wonderin.....

Sorry to jump in, but I've played Red Tail a number of times. It's a nice little course. I take my lessons out there and my son has had his jr golf camps there. It's a great facility.

I am of the other opinion of Red Tail or Progess TPC as we call it.

I haven't played there for 3 or 4 years b/c they had such a atittude back then with comparatively expensive greens fees. Also it is in Beaverton and I can't stand Beaverton b/c it is very busy and confusing to try and get around there; plus the cops are on you like white on rice. Now for the good news, excellent practice facility, the very best club fitting in the PDX / Vancouver area and a very good selection of equipment.

When you go to golfnow look on the upper banner for "hot deals". There is also EZ links, but not as complete as golfnow.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
