Going to be in Asheville, NC on Friday. Checking Wicked Weed, Greenman, and Burial to see if they have any vintage or cellared bottles. Also hitting Sierra Nevada to see the big shiny new building!!!!!!

Alright heading up north on the guys golf trip in two weeks. Need to send the Chicago guys a list of what I need them to bring. Here is my early list, give some extra ideas on some things that are not that hard to find in Chicagoland, ipa preferred. I'm in michigan so only looking for things I can't get here.

Pipeworks Square Grouper is re-released 7/27, if they can get that it's the best DIPA in Chicago.

Just the right amount of coffee, but wish the Vanilla came out a bit more than just the smell

 

 

I have a six pack of these I am going to sit on until winter. It was really good fresh but I have heard great things after they are cellared for a while.

There is this place I've been eyeballing in socal. Gonna try to slip away for a few when I go out there for grandma's services in a few weeks. It's got everything from firestone anniversary and reserve series to pliny, bruery, lost abbey, barrel aged old rasputin and barrel aged narwhal etc etc

I wish I could take a couple more days off and head to SD, but I think the furthest south I will get is OC to hopefully get a round in with Pure745 if time permits.

Nice I so wish I could do something like that here in AZ but it is too hot. My patio storage closet is prob 120* today, I even feel bad about leaving it at room temp 65*-78*. The only ones that age in the fridge are the Firestone's as they recommend aging theirs at sub 50*. Im starting to run out of cabinet space in our condo. I might have to start getting creative soon or start buying less lol who am I kidding.

Anyone else check out Tavour yet? It's kinda like an online bottle shop. They email you daily with that days beer if you want it you reply with how many you want. They ship once or twice a month and I think it's $15 flat rate shipping. I signed up for the emails a while back but just placed my first order today. Honestly there have only been a few beers I have thought about ordering. An interesting stout popped up from evil twin so thought I would give it a shot with something small
