Anybody built a set of Yururis?

being told I have to drill the hosel's for a taper shaft

Just ordered a set of Yururi Flatbacks from TSG, and inquired to make sure they required .355 tapers rather than .370 parallel shafts, and I was told they're made for tapers, but I still may have to have the hosels drilled out for the shafts to fit - they do that to keep from having rust in the hosels.

Has anybody built a set of irons with Yururi heads to know if that's really the case? What a pain that will be!!

FYI, even though I was told the Yururi Flatbacks are made for .355 tapers, when I received them I found they are for .370 parallels. Not too happy about that. But I ordered some shims when I found that out, and assembled them tonight. Put DGS300SL's in them, and they will be +1/2" in length when I'm done. Will be using black/white DD2 grips to match the black/white head scheme.

Were yours made for .355 or .370? Other than the hosel bore, mine are "perfect" as well. Just was told they were .355 but they weren't. TSG followed up and said Yururi changes the bore from year to year (which seems odd). At any rate, it's working out ok.

But I am curious if yours were for tapers...

I'm also using Yururi flatback raw but not sure of the hosel bore size as I've TSG assemble them for me....

What's your opinion of them? I finished assembling mine last night. DGS300SL's at +1/2 and the swingweights are all D-6.5, and all were within 1/4 of a swingweight point which is pretty consistent!
