Bandon Dunes Discount

Anyone know of any?

We're pretty much set for our trip out to Bandon in August. They question I have is does anyone know of any discounts they offer? I realize we can save some $ by not playing from May-Oct, and I know about the half off price offer for the second 18 of the day. Are there any others you know of? Maybe if I join the PNGA or OGA, for example?

Any suggestions are appreciated. We really despise paying full rack rate and like to avoid it if possible.

Third and forth rounds are free (can't make advance tee times for them). Also if you work in the golf industry or are active duty military I believe there are discounted rates.

Join the military and you'll enjoy a 50% discount. At least on rounds of golf. Both times I have been (once winter, once summer) I was extended a discount. Doesn't apply to food/drinks/merch as far as I know.

By the way, I really recommend the Best Western Inn at Face Rock in Bandon. It's a 10 minute drive from Bandon Dunes. Great rooms, indoor pool/jacuzzi/sauna, and a great restaurant. There is even a little par-3 course right at the hotel.

When I played Bandon I received the PGA rate, so it does exist. We rented a house near old Bandon but and there is a difference in the rate between a golf only guest and a resort guest but if you Replay you can play any course for a much lower rate. Just my .02, also if you haven't played there I strongly suggest taking the LINKS LESSON it was very informative and practicing those shots that we don't really hit here (i am on the east coast) was helpful. We took caddies and it was very helpful, especially when there was a lot of fog as it can get confusing as to where to go next, nothing was marked. The fog was so bad that you couldn't see 25 yards off the tee, the caddie would just put a tee in the front of tee box and basically tell us to hit over that!, go figure I shot 78 that day and didn't break 80 the other 3 rounds. We had all types of weather, rain, fog, sun, wind, cold and warmth. Tough for first timers but who cares we had blast. Head into old bandon for dinner nice little restaurants..And watch out for the snakes and Porcupines! Mostly just have fun and take n the experience! I look forward to going back!

pinehurst doesnt give a break on the golf but did give a 75% discount on the hotel rate!

I've only received the discount on the golf at Bandon, not on the hotel for visits in June and March. 75% discount at Pinehurst sounds pretty crazy. Do you know if it's a year round discount? When did you visit?

I have never stayed at the resort itself, I have always stayed offsite at the Best Western. The discount on rounds of golf was good enough for me!

2 weeks ago and they made it sound like its good for life. i extended our stay into the weekend with no increase in the 109/night rate for a room in the carolina

Replay rate is 50% and it doesn't have to be the same course so we alternated course over a four day span. At the range they have a short course for free you can play I seem to remember it not being 9 holes but a good warm up!

[size="4"]Anyone know what the PGA Rate is or was?[/size] When I called a few years back you needed to bring 11 guests and your golf and room was covered. I could always round up 5 to 7 guys but never 11 at the same time.
