Interesting topic. I'm not sure I could ever remember them all. Definitely couldn't remember the names in most cases. Just around here I've played courses designed by Hogan (the only course he designed), Norman, Palmer, Mark Brooks, Weiskopf, and probably a few others (several courses that I have no idea who designed them).

Too many to count...over 300 courses around the world...probably about 20 Nicklaus, 5 or 6 Faldo , Palmer, Norman,etc etc etc....I would guess at least 100 by former or present PGA players....Enjoyed them all!!
Most recent was "The Rise" in Vernon BC....by Fred Couples........but we heard Freddie is trying to get his name off it after what they did to it. I don't blame him......UGH!!!!

I have had the opportunity to play courses designed by Messers. Nicklaus, Palmer and Player. Of the three, I perfer to play Mr. Player's courses because his designs can accomodate any player level. It seems to me that Mr. Palmer thinks all golfers must be able to hit the ball long, while Mr. Nicklaus sees a round of golf as some sort of gauntlet to be endured.

I loved that course as well! And you can't beat the price. It is by far one of the coolest courses I've ever played.

Pretty sure it's the only one I've played that fits this category. Luckily I'm only about an hour away so I get to play it pretty regularly. Made the mistake of walking it the first time I played it...
