need someone to verify fake club for ebay

I bought one of those fake R7 460 Tours a couple of weeks ago. The seller has the nerve to say its real. I need someone who is qualified to email ebay and tell them how fake this thing is. It was described as a tour club with a Diamana 83X They wont refund my money unless I show proof that it is fake. Please pm me I you can help. have you contacted taylormade... I am sure they would have no problem saying they did not make this thing.

We had one like this come into the golf shop where I work on weekends (when Im not doing the whole college thing) and we wrote a note for a guy. If you happen to live in Houston, then I know a place that will write you a letter.

Yeah, you don't need an expert for that one. Have you tried contacting TaylorMade? I don't know that they would help, but it never hurts to ask.

What do you expect them to do? You bought it off Ebay for peanuts (most likely).

 

Like many of us have been saying "You get what you pay for". If it seems too cheap, there is a reason!

I would think that Taylormade would want to verify that this or any club is not authentic in the hopes that they can help stomp out any illegal distribution channels. To me, it's like any other manufacturer of high end or luxury items where counterfeits are a problem. Some areas like NYC have special task forces to crack down on counterfeit products.

 

All in all I would think it would only be in the best interest of Taylormade or any other golf OEM to maintain as best they can the integrity of their products and protect the customers that purchase their equipment. ;)

I agree totally. I sell products on eBay that are used. If I were to sell new product at the prices that are listed. I would be out of business in no time. I've repeated this many times....IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE...THAN IT IS!!! Buyer beware!!!

Then it is up to the pros to compete with them instead of sitting in the back of the shop whining that ebay is the death of them.
