Callaway irons 2013?

I am not that happy with my razr x forged. I have trouble launching them high enough, especially the 4 and 5 iron. And now that i have read about the new x forged model of 2013 I understand why, or at least part of the problem. Now Callaway is saying that in the razr x forged weight dont work downwards progressively which helps the ball go a little higher on longer iron shots, but the new model of 2013 will. I have hit the razr x tour and in retrospective maybe I should have bought that one instead, but to be honest I didnt like the looks of it, and I thought it lacked a little of the feel I was after, but they were easy to hit.

So now I am thinking there might be a new x tour version coming from Callaway next year. Is there anyone here that heard anything? I have been playing Callaway for some years now and maybe its time to switch to another brand. Tried my playing partners AP2, CG16 tour and MP53 and must say they all felt good and performed very well.

I'm a old Callaway guy, went thru all the series of irons up to the X-Forged 09 and stopped there. Played the G15's last two years and now thinking of dusting off the X-Forged 09's and putting them into play along with a couple of New Callaway X-Uility irons in the bag for next year. I like the feel of the X-Forged irons and Callaway woods are the best. All my golfing buddies are slowly returning back to Callaway.

I used to be a big Callaway fan but haven't played any of their stuff in years. They've got a confusing set of iron offerings right now-- 7 different sets. Is that really necessary? Seems ridiculous to me.

I'd like to see one good solid replacement for the X-series/RAZR X line in 2013.

Saw a pic of the new 2013 Forged offerings on [url="http://i2.cdn.turner.com/dr/pga/sites/default/files/imagecache/blog_large/blogs/Callaway2013XForgedIron-5-640x360.jpg"]PGA.com[/url]. I don't know what to think about them. I'm not passing judgement until I hit one. However, they just don't look as clean as the MBs.

My first thought when I saw the pictures here of the 2013 x forged is that they looked a little like a mizuno iron. A little more rounded like the mp53 for example.

I agree that the MBs look more clean and actually they are very nice to hit. But they haven´t been available for purchase here in Europe. Even if they were, I dont think I would have bought them. I need some forgiveness in an iron and a little cavity also puts some more power on the ball.
