Highland Reserve - Orlando/Davenport, FL

Will be staying in Davenport, FL at a condo community in December. (Regal Palms)

 

The entrance to this course is anout 30 seconds away so I plan to play it quite a bit (at least for 9 hole rounds in the afternoon after family Disney trips)

It's nothing to write home about really. Quite a bit of elevation changes for a Florida course. Conditioning when I played was a C- (Summer 2011). Cheap course for the area but I'd spend my time and money at either Orange Lake course for the same price instead. Orange Lake and Championsgate are both 10 minutes away but Championsgate's winter rates are astronomical for the courses.

We own a town home at Regal palms and for a quick round in the morning Ill goto Highlands because owners get a discount, but usually will do one of the bigger nicer courses around the area, such as shingles, southern Dunes, OC National, Disney Osprey, Grand cypress and OLR-legend to name a few. See if you can reserve 3418 calabria ave!! Just upgraded a few things last week when I was down there. Regal Palms takes care of our bookings for us. Have fun!!

Yeah it's not great, but not terrible either. And yes, lots of elevation changes.
