I find Titleist MB and CB to be incredibly hard to hit for some reason relative to other similar clubs.

I didn't like the MBs either....and I've never found a CB that I liked.

I currently play bb and have a set of personal arriving next week.

I am sure the personal at address will look big and quite GI compared to my babyblades, but will be a lot easier to hit and hence my move. I have a bit of trouble hitting the 3 iron from the fairway... the confidence is just not there looking at the blade which looks smaller than the ball :)

I am sure I am going to love the 3/5 irons in personals but miss the look and feel of 6/P of babyblades...

Is there anyone interested in a combo set of 3/5 babyblades and 6/P personals???? :)

Ahhh, memories of trying to hit the BB long irons. Truthfully, the BBs were great on the range. Perfectly flat lie and just smoothing shots - probably the best feeling clubs I've ever hit. The problem that i saw coming was being on the course and trying to actually play those things. Maybe the smallness would promote and encourage a player to continually try for that optimum swing - but I suppose I've always had a little too much of trying to get a little more out of a club. Chances are that if I'm faced with a smooth six or a hard seven - I go with less club and try to muscle it a little bit. BBs - especially in mid-long irons - just were not conducive to that style of play. Great feeling clubs though.

Why not get the BB's and send them out for customization once you've received them. Unless by customizing you mean custom grinds. If its just cosmetic, there are plenty of good refinishing/rebuilding shops out there.

I think it might be difficult to remove the stampings "Miura" and "Forged"..? My club maker suggested just to remove the paint in the stampings. which is one step closer to my design, but not entirely there..

Just to update...

Played only one round with Epon Personals (3/P with PXI 6.0 set up) and Miura's stay in the bag (PX tour issue 6.2 set up).

Miura just way better in every department (for me at least)...

Not sure what to do with Personals.... put them on the wall maybe as I don't see them selling for what I believe they should go for (half the irons still in shrink wrap as played only 9 holes and didn't have to hit those)... will try my luck on BST soon.

Miura hands down a winner for me.... may switch to an easier 3 iron though.

For me, Epons were slightly longer than Miuras but the feel was better in the Miuras with EPONS having a slight hotter/harsher feel.

If you happen to go with EPON we just got some awesome EPON stand bags in from Japan.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
