Can Anyone Advise

driver/shaft combo
I have had three drive/shaft combinations in the last year;
Ping G2 10*/ Graffaloy Prolaunch 65r
Titleist 905t 10.5*/ Graphite Design YS+ r
TM R5 TP 9.5*/ Diamana 83r
All of these setups were satisfactory and delivered amazingly similar results. Distance was the same, {the Titleist was more workable} but in my opinion, the trajectory was too high on all of them. I get almost no roll after landing, 230-235 yds. cary, and often pitch mark from where it landed less than 3 ft. away. I'm thinking higher kick point shaft? Club builder in my area recomends three,
AccuFlex Icon V2
Fujikura Vista Tour 60
Harmon CB70
I'm interested in your help, I have both the Titliest & TaylorMade clubs still, and could be happy with either. Or, maybe I'm getting all I can get out of these clubs , and thats why they perform equally. Or have I tried the wrong clubs? Not opposed to trying something else, or to shipping one of existing clubs to have work done.
Now, about me:
hcp. index 6.7
swing speed low to mid 90's
avg. tempo with avg release point
I like to feel the shaft don't like stiff boardy feel
My swing is pretty consistant, don't miss many fairways, probably
connect on 9/10 drives hitting slight draw, missis are either over
the top pulls or weak lazy fade, but niether too extreme. I like to
play Titleist NXT Tour, and have experimented with others, ProV1-x
& Bridgestone B330 lower trajectory some, but both feel hard to me
as I can't really compress them.
Hope this isn't too long and that I can get some good feedback.

All of those are pretty good shafts, I think the Accuflex Evolution is even better if going the Accuflex route. The Vista tour's while good shafts are pretty far down the list of the great Fuji shafts. Dont know much about the Harmon line so cant help ya there.

I dont see anything at all wrong with the clubs your using, prolly just need a fresh shaft in them to get all you can outta the clubhead.

Is there a reason that you can't demo the shaft(s) you're considering and then pick whatever works best for you?

To add an additional wrinkle or two:

I've heard nothing but superlatives about the Big Bertha 454 and the Launcher 460 this year, perhaps you could try out one of those.

Also - instead of simply trying out different shafts, maybe you should shake things up a bit further - alternate your lofts, shaft weights, flexes, etc. - a particular combination may shine through as an obvious "best bet."

IMHO there is no substitute for finding a fitter/pro shop that will work with you to let you demo as many different driver head/shaft combos as possible...

    • Titleist GT drivers - 2024 the Memorial Tournament
Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
