Bushnell Hybrid Question?

Not much to research on this rangefinder on here, so I have to ask? How good is the GPS on the side? Also, the laser for that matter. I've seen where most say it is basically a V2 with a Neo stuck on the side. I have also read one review where they say that the Pinseeker works great at picking up the flag but does not give distances to other objects such as the edge of a sand trap for example. Anyone use and like the unit? Pro's??? Cons??? Any help appreciated!! Bob

I love mine. For the most part the gps is accurate, however there have been a few exceptions. On the 4th hole of my home course, The yardage counts backwards from the tee box, and there have been a couple other small glitches like that. The gps is almost always in line with the yardage to the pin. My favorite aspect is you know the distances to the front and back of the green as well as the ability to know exact distance to the flag. So far as shooting traps, trees etc, it is no different than any other bushnell I've ever used. The only real negative for me is remembering to charge it. It is not battery operated, but a full charge tends to last me about 2 rounds. If I see the battery going down, I'll turn off the gps and just use the rangefinder. FYI, found one here on the bst for just over half of retail price and sold my previous bushnell for almost the same price.
