Here's a cool pic of what I think is a Stainless 009

An 009 will have "dog ears" in the cavity and a thicker top line. I know it's not a shot from above, you you can tell by the way the top line hangs over the cavity.

You can tell by the toe at first glance, too. The 009 is more square in the toe.

I know its not petro (Rossa) and Not rollins (odyssey) and i think allenby is still playing bobby grace. But who knows these days????

Whatever the case, I'd take that over a carbon 009. I mostly like round bumpers, a thinner top line, and a nice sightline. I also like how that one is very teutonic with no Titleist on it, just CAMERON. One thing I wish that they would do is match up the machining from the cavity to the bumpers - they always leave a little step. I want it smooth there so when you look down from the top all you see is the sightline, not perpendicular visual from the stepping. That one *appears* to be like that but I'd have to see a pic from the top to make sure.

 

I guess what I'm saying is:

That's my dream tour putter.

If its Allenby...he made a good switch...when he doesnt play well its the putter...and after shooting a 63 today me thinks he found a putter that works.
