Just curious to know if anyone has played this super exclusive private club or has any history on it or if they can even find it, this course has always been number 1 on my to play list i have played alot of places in this area and have never met anyone who knows anything about it other then the obvious.

Played it a few years back for the Ontario Am - I thought it was an overrated design, but the conditioning was fantastic. The greens are some of the best you'll ever play.

If you get a chance to get there you have to go, even just for the greens. Don't get me wrong, it's a great track but I don't think it lived up to all the hype...

The pro Am mmack067 played in in 2005, is the only time I've every heard of Red Tail opening up to non-members.

The only way you will ever get to play is 1) know someone who works there 2) go work there yourself 3) Become a friend or client of the owner Chris Goodwin (merchant banker) and John Drake...who personally send out invitations to join.

I agree , great condition, really cool place but course was just okay. But for coolness it's the best.

Was lucky enough to be invited out a few years ago. Ended up being a cold drizzly mid October day which kind of spoiled the day - although as the others have said, the grounds were kept in impeccable shape. We were the only group on the course, yet they had someone drive ahead of us the entire round to blow the leaves off the greens just before we got to them.
