Long time reader / Finally New Member

Greetings WRXers. I've been a long time reader and finally decided to start an account.

Currently live in San Francisco. We've got a few a great courses around the Bay Area––just a pain to drive to.

I picked up golf in my senior year of college. Bought a cheap set of clubs from a store clearance. I think the brand was called Alien.

It's been 6 years since I picked it up and I'm finally getting serious about it.

It wasn't until I finally understood the concept of creating lag and the follow through when I finally started MUCH playing better. I'm looking to break 100 now (always been a 110-120 player). I recently shot 48 on the front 9 at Poplar Creek. So I can't wait to play a full round.

Good Luck Jux! I'm in the same boat, been a long time reader and actually have had the account for a while but just starting to post with it. Hopefuly I'll start interacting on a consistent basis. I'm thinking about starting a journey thread like I've seen in the instruction forums as I have been playing for about 4 years but still struggle to break 50 for 9. I've never been able to play much and built my swing off of a mat, but now I have a greens fees pass for the next year and have started to play 2-3 per week. Let me know what you think!
