Nintendo Wii

Anyone else excited about this game? How accurate do you think the Wii control system is going to be? Do you know if you can play various shots (draw, fade, punch etc.) using just your swing and the Wii remote?

Man, I haven't been this pumped about a game in a long time! I hope they make the control scheme an accurate representation of your golf swing.

Cant wait for this to come out, lovin it for ps3 and 2 for that matter. Wii sports golf is pretty accurate with swing length to shot distance, but no draw/fade or anything, so well have to see..

I'm looking forward to the game too, I think it comes out in March. I like how you can do practice swings to get the power correct like in Wii sports golf. You draw the ball by tilting the remote towards the screen while you swing and fade by tilting it away. The way you can add spin after you shoot is kind of cheesy but this is the way all the Tiger Woods games have been in the past, guess it just makes it more fun for the casual players. It should be fun. I got Super Swing Golf for the Wii, it's good but really varies in difficulty if you play against the cpu, it can be quite unforgiving.

Its excellent for Xbox 360. Wii won't have that kind of graphics but the controls look like they will be great.

I've only been with xbox 360 for a couple months, but that screenshot looks really bad. Next generation has spoiled me :)

I believe it comes out Mar 6 or 7, and I'll be in line to get one. True, graphics aren't quite HD but they aren't NES.... I'd put them between PS2 and PS3. Apparently you can either use the remote to swing or you can do it the old fashioned way with the nunchuk.

Agreed. I don't think I could have played PS2 anymore after the 360.

Well hopefully its not like the Wii Sports golf game...cause the response wasnt that good and it would be hard to draw or fade the ball on TW 07.
