I bought a Sumo2 off ebay.co.uk for £88 from a seller without any feedback, I bidded thinkin i'll easily get outbid, I want it obviously but sounds a little too good to be true! I just want to know how to tell if its reall or fake when I get it.

first sale with zero feedback? i wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. not to say that's you won't get a genuine deal, but the chances of it being fake are much, much higher.

looks real but a first sell with a euro seller is scary! stick with the good old u.s.a!!! i imagine within the next few weeks u can get that thing really cheap because i believe it is a fad like the bubble shaft.

i watched that one - and was gonna throw a bid in over yours! wife wouldn't stop sending emails / talking etc, and by the time she'd finished it had ended.

 

I was going to just go there and collect it in person to make sure all is ok. For the savings involved, its deffo worth the petrol money!

I recently purchased a new SUMO Driver and SQ 2 Fairway Wood from who I thought to be a reputable dealer in the US.

 

Upon receiving the clubs I noticed that they do not have any serial numbers on them like all my other Nike clubs. Is anyone aware of genuine Nike Clubs being sold without serial numbers???

 

I am dubious as to whether these are genuine or not. I have contacted the retail outlet who at this stage is adament that the clubs were provided and shafted by a Nike Fitting Van etc.

 

Any feedback would be most appreciated.

Everybody is always searching for a "good deal." However, shouldn't we be lookiing for a good value? By going to a reputable store you shouldn't even have to worry about whether the merchandise is fake. Besides, what happens if you have a problem? How that is addressed is all part of the buying process.

 

Think of value as the entire package with price just one aspect of the package.

 

Thanks for letting me vent, but so many people are worried about being taken or have had a bad experience trying to save a few bucks. (Yes, my dad taught me money doesn't grow on trees :drinks: .)

The Tour Van carries Production (ie retail) aswell as Tour stock. If it came from a Tour Van in the US then it should have no serial numbers along with no paint fill!

alternatively someone is getting there hands on tour products then selling them off!!
