Best to contact the local Miura rep in your area. From my experience, I've noticed minimal forgiveness differences between their cb line. I also find that their MB's are not that much different than their CB's from a forgiveness factor (with the exception of the BB's). I have no analytical data to support this thinking, just on course evaluations.

Can't help with the MG lines but I can offer the older mc 101 and 102 are extremely forgiving. I have some 101's and they are an iron geared to the high handicapper. Big heads, lots of offset and very forgiving. Sorry as this is not what you were asking about but i thought there was no harm in offering the information.

I tested the CB-501 and TBs before I pulled the trigger and bought the blades.

I found the CBs less forgiving than the TBs. I realize that is counterintuitive but that's just the way it worked for me.

The BBs were another story completely. Those things are TINY.....solid on the range though.

Lumberman2462's comment might sound strange but the Tournament Blades were very easy to hit.
I've played the CB 501's for 3 years and thought they were great until I hit the Blades. I now have a set of Limited Edition Black Blades and gave the CB501's to my brother.

On the other hand the Baby Blades are probably the most prettiest clubs ever made but very demanding. NO LAZY DAYS with those clubs. BUT if you hit a couple shots on the sweet spot you will fall in love with them.

The passing points look weird.
The CB501 feel harsh on mis hits like a forged cavity should feel.
The Tournament Blades are easy to hit and the grind IMO are perfect playing in Michigan.
The Baby Blades (Thoughts above)
The CB202 were my first set of Miuras and probably the easiest to hit.
The CB301 (played these for 2 weeks) were very demanding and dug a lot.

Something JDM

R - As you know, I play the CB301's, but I have a 6-iron in the TB that I can let you hit sometime at the club if interested. Don't think you'd find it that forgiving, but it is sweet! The Passing Point is supposed to be the most forgiving, and there is an MG version of that as well as the North Amer version.

If you want the opinion of an unbiased club maker who deals in many Japanese brands: Chip Usher at Usher Golf in Savannah, Georgia.

If you want a Miura opinion from a Miura Employee: FLOGMR here on GolfWrx.
Both are great, certified, and verified Miura fitters/dealers. You can also contact Miura HQ in Canada or even email Adam Barr. I've spoken with Mr. Barr several times via email, and he usually responds within 24 hours.

Hi,

Which is the most forgiving of the Mirua MG models OTHER THAN the 9003's?

Thanks.
The only 2 available cavity backs are now the 501 and the 9003. You might still be able to get a 301.
I personally believe the 9003 and the 501 are for different types of strikers. So forgiveness is individual.
If you are fit right, the Baby Blade is as forgiving. But it depends on your definition.
I don't like the 501 because the Baby Blade feels so right.
The MB 001 feels incredible. The 9003 has a sole design that is not compatible for my strike.
My customers tell me the 301 and the 501 feel about the same for forgiveness. The 9003 for those that fit it, it is very forgiving.
I believe the fit, the shaft the grip combination is what dictates forgiveness, not club head.
I hear there maybe a new cavity back introduced soon.
Send me a PM if you wish to communicate further

If you meant to ask the Miura Giken=MG (for Japan market) models, most forgiving IMO would be the CB-2006. CB-2007 (model replacing the CB-2006) is definitely less forgiving. I believe the most popular MG model in Japan is the CB-2006. If you can get one now, take it as as I've said it's being replaced by the CB-2007.

I have a mint set of Miura MC102 (3-pw) w/ nippon NS pro stiff shafts these are arguably one of the most forgiving miura offerings. Completally perimeter weighted with no muscle in the cavity. But they don't make them anymore.
I don't use this set. They are in "like new" condition with barely even any chatter.
If u need them, message me.
Thanks
