The MB 001s look really good. Heard the turf interaction is better than the TB? I like my CB 501/TB combo but feel that the TB just digs too much sometimes.

I'm curious if the 501s in the shorter irons will be better? I really like them in the 4/5 irons.

Hello, can someone help explain when this Miura MB tournament blades were introduced? I couldn't find any information from Miura website. Do Miura clubs come with serial numbers on the hosel?

 

Any more information you can provide is appreciated!

Those were known as the "Retro blade" because of the lettering style...they are essentially the current Tournament blade with different style lettering...there was also a "Retro Cavity" CB 201 which was like a CB 202 with the same retro style lettering. Both have been discontinued for some years......I had a set of them done as a combo set...Retro blades PW-7 and CB 210's 6-3....really a nice set.
They did not have conforming grooves....Best guess is that they were introduced around the mid 1990's.
