2015 Sanderson Farms: Discussion Thread

GolfWRX is live from the 2015 Sanderson Farms Championship at the Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Miss. Utilizing the Dogwood and Azalea nines, the course will play as a par-72 measuring 7,354 yards for the event.

The field this week includes Smylie Kaufman, the 23-year old who picked up his first PGA Tour victory this season at the Shriners Open, Ollie Schniederjans, Tommy "2 Gloves" Gainey, Brendan Todd and Graham DeLaet.

Also in the field is defending champion Nick Taylor, who won last year's Sanderson Farms Championship with a final-round 66 to eclipse Boo Weekley and Jason Bohn by two strokes.

Played here for our state am this year. Not that tough tee to green...EXTREMELY tough on the greens. I have a good friend playing there this week, Cory Cooper, I caddied for him at the PNC in Philly this summer. Going up Friday to watch him. Should be a good time.

Did anyone else see the Odyssey blade putter cover with he hockey masks? I saw a mallet version on eBay a couple weeks ago and just missed on buying it. Does anyone have one for sale or know where/how to get one. I'm a golf professional on Callaway staff and I can't even find one. It's very frustrating!

Superstroke taunts me every tournament with that PGA championship grip. Not a place in the Internet to find them either

Pinon,

The first time I played golf as a fifth grader until I was out of college for four years I used wood woods. I didn't game a metal wood until 1988. I will not hit them far, but I can still hit them if can find them for left handed players that do not cost an arm and a leg.

The Srixon Tour Rep had a few players hit it. Michael Bradley was killing it dead straight or slight draw. On TrackMan, Michael was getting 167mph ball speed

They have been out on Tour for a while and Tour Only as far as I know.

I chatted with him at the Masters in 2013, waiting to tee of on 11 on Friday. It's back in the trees and away from the cameras, and you're able to get pretty close. Cool dude.
