Looking for 3 great rounds in the Charleston,NC area

Looking for some help please. I will be traveling to the Andrew Pinckney inn the last week of June and am looking to play a few rounds. Any recommendations on tracks in the area. I'm fine to drive an hour in any direction, and $100 or less is what I'd like to spend. Any help is appreciated.

First off, as a long time resident of Charleston, SC, please change the state from NC to SC in your thread title.

We are a bit picky about that in both sides of the Carolina line.

Now, as to where to play there are numerous threads detailing the various courses around the Lowcountry. Kiawah and Seabrook are about half an hour away and if you are active duty military some great deals can be had there, otherwise, Mt. Pleasant has a few solid places to play in that price range, along with the Summerville, West Ashley and Hollywood area.

It's a little over an hour drive to Edisto along HY 17, and about the same to I95 and the Santee area.

What specifically are you looking for in a course to play?

Crap. I can't find how to change it... But I'll figure it out. I walk and like a good challenge both on the walk and in the course.

I was just giving you a hard time about the NC.

Not a lot of walker friendly courses in the area. The Muni for sure, but the rest, if they are semi-private place usually only allow members to walk. Helps increase the revenue.

I would check the websites, contact the course and see what their walking policies are. Some of the courses around here are really spread out, and the end of June could prove to be very hot, humid, and with pop up showers.
