Any experience with Mizuno MP 18 MMC Fli HI #5

Curious if anyone has any experience with this exact club and their thoughts on this?

I had one for a while but got rid of it. Easy to hit but flew lower than I anticipated. Plus that huge sole bothered me. It's a good club, just not for me.

I've got a MP18 SC 5 iron that I have bent 1 degree slot but want a higher flight and a little more forgiveness. With that said, I can't stand wider sole irons. I have it in a #4 and love it.

I have been raving about the Fli Hi since getting my first Mizuno set. The 5 and 6 are perfect for me. I've carried several different hybrids over the years but in the end, despite a lotta trying (lol), could never get along with one. I added the Cobra King Utility 3 when it came out. Love it. The Fli His look and play like an iron (not even too shovel-ish either) but seem to me to have all the forgiveness of a hybrid. No issue with trajectory,distance or the dreaded pulls that I'd fight with hybrid. Now, it's probably the case that I'd hit the same degree hybrid a little further but hit them long enough that I don't feel they're short in the least.

I think the numbers on the Fli Hi irons are a little confusing/ deceiving. I have a "4" with a stock loft of 21*, which I think of more as a 3 iron loft. It'd be nice if they stamped lofts rather than (or along with) numbers like older versions of the Fli Hi - I personally think the number only confuses customers slightly. I originally bought it to try as a 4 iron replacement, but I also found it to fly lower and slightly longer than I expected. I do like the club, just not exactly as I intended it. I more just use it as a driving iron/ trouble club/ long approaches & layups now, which it does very well.
