Snake Eyes Tour Platinum Putter

IMO, It looks nice, but I feel like it being snake eyes and all, that less testing and research went in to the design and could have some major flaws.

yeah saw this is the latest Golf Digest and it caught my eye....looks like worth a few rolls just to see, know what I mean

Dude, its a blade style putter. Snake Eyes makes some fantastic club heads. I would not hesitate at all in bagging one of those.

Agreed. The Snake Eyes stuff is top quality for sure. I have the Snake Eyes Z9 putter, which has a milled insert in it, and it feels great. I built it for giggles, but it is a good quality putter.

Snake Eyes, while I don't currently own anything from them, have better quality stuff than a lot of big name companies. I know their quality control is second to none. You order their stuff, loft, lies, etc. are right on as opposed to even Titleist. They are definitely a quality component company.

I think it looks pretty cool. Kind of like an insert without an actual insert. Just going by appearance I'd have no qualms at all about having it in the bag.

I did take a peek at the head cover. Now that I'm not so crazy about the look of.

i currently game all snake eyes clubs and i know there quality is great, i have never cracked a single head. it is certainly a nice looking putter i may have to build one this year with a black steel shaft if i can find one and then do some nice paint fill.

Those and the black headed tour models look nice.

I already have a couple customers wanting one when they are released.

I game the 7803 and it is sswwweeettt. I had a white hot two ball for the better part of four years and am selling it now because of this putter. It rolls great and it feels even better. They did get great reviews from the GD Hotlist as well. I was very surprised to see it on the list. I will post up some pics tomorrow, the clubhead is top notch in everyway.

if you buy all of the parts and do the work, this these putters can be built for around 85 bucks. sounds like it might certainly be a winner.

I have one of those as well. I had Lamont remove the aluminum insert and replace it with a copper insert. It makes a huge difference. That Z9 is LONG across the face. LOL

Those are some heavy putters

i got those specs off of the 2009 online golfmith clubmaker mag. i am sure with that extra weight they probably feel good. i am waiting until i get find a nice golfsmith coupon before i build one. i hope i can find one before the season starts.

A standard .370 tip shaft like Golfsmith's # 2178 or 271.

I think there has been plenty of research and testing on an anser style head...........I'm sure it isn't too "flawed" :russian_roulette:

Snake Eyes has always been quality product. Their hybrids are beautiful and quite functional, and those new 655TM wedges are divine. I would like to pick a couple of those up.

These are some great putters. I have tested all 4 models. They all have a wonderful feel and they roll the ball very well. It just comes down to your preference on how the address view looks to which model you pick. I currently have a 7801 version in my bag just waiting to go out for it's first round. The finish and quality of the putter is top notch.
