Anybody else tried these?

Just got another sleeve of balls from the golf ball of the month club that my girlfriend got me for my birthday and these were what arrived. Couldn't find many reviews and it looks like Sports Authority is the only place that sells them.

Took them out for a few rounds and shot the two best rounds of the year for me. They are long off the tee probably 10-15 yards possibly longer and a full club longer off of my irons. They feel pretty nice though not like a rock, but not as soft as the bridgestone e6 I usually play. I was a little worried about spin since they were such a long ball, but they don't roll out as bad as some other balls I have tried (top flite feel) and can actually hold a green pretty decently. I will probably buy a dozen and keep trying them out and see how it goes but it's nice for a short ball hitter like me to pick up the extra yardage.

Just wondered if anyone else has played these and what they thought of them. Thanks

I've never heard of them.

It looks/seems like a good ball, though for just 20 dollars a box.

On Sports Authority it has a 4.5 out of 5 for it's product rating.

Tommy A is a Sports Authority private label product. I think they own Tommy A and RAM. Like Dicks owns Slazenger and a a couple others. If they work then that is all that matters.

I played these last fall and was very impressed. Maybe the longest balls I ever hit. They hold the green pretty well on full shots, but need to play for some roll on shots around the green. Very good feel off the putter. Overall, a great bargain ball.

Thanks for the info and experiences, I think I am going to pick some more of these up. I hear that they go on sale every so often sometimes for half off so this might be my new ball. I just can't believe I found a ball that gives me extra yards but doesn't feel like junk off my irons and putter.

Distance I like them but I dont get any spin (i dont usually spin em back, but maybe a 5ft rollout)

Well on the 4th hole a par 4 I hit a 56* full wedge from 100 out and hit the front of the green, I walk up to the green and my ball is all the way on the back (long green). They dont spin, but I would definitely use them and recommend them on any course without fast greens. Overall though a great ball for $11/dozen on sale currently.

Funny thing, I get $20/dozen (nice amount to a HS student) golf balls and I lose 6 in one round while hacking it up, I buy these for $11/dozen and dont lose ONE SINGLE BALL and shoot a 44 on the front 9 from the blues at a US Open Qualifying course (too short to play whites, I was consistently hitting my driver 270+ today )
