Who Makes YELLOW Balls Now??

Is it only Srixon??
Hey all,

I always liked YELLOW colored golf balls and back when I played there seemed to be all kinds of choices if you wanted yellow golf balls. I have been browsing through different web pages and golf catalogs and the only one I can find that comes in YELLOW are the new Srixon balls that run about $43 per dozen.

I just wanted to ask and see if there are other brands that offer different color golf balls.

What have you found?

Thanks for the info.

Before heading out for a three-day golf trip to Prattville, AL last month, I purchased a dozen yellow golf balls from SMT Golf ... the brand name was Vision, and I believe they were from a company located in Australia. I also purchased a dozen Srixon yellow golf balls (Z Star X) and passed samples of both of them out to my buddies on the tee before teeing off on Day 1 ... as we were finishing up our second round of the day on Day 2 with the light quickly fading, we were amazed at how easy it was to see the Vision yellow golf balls in the twilight ... the Srixons were also easy to see in the low-light conditions, but those yellow Vision balls just jumped out at us as we were finishing our round.

Hi Mp, Thanks for the Vision note as it is appreciated. The Staybright UV effect really makes the colour
zing. I am working on a Tour type version in TPU Urethane now that the Bright Yellow colour is finding
a few more homes around the world. Tim (MyOstrich) and Dave (Slickstix) are helping Mike (SMT) with
my US trials. Cheers, Boz.

As mentioned, Top Flite XL are available at Wally World for $9.99 for a 15 ball pack. Surprisingly, not a bad ball.

Wilson Smartcores are also in Yellow and ORANGE! Yes orange for those of us who play on courses with lots of yellow poplar leaves.

Still waiting for the AD333 in Yellow. Srixondan, where are YOUUUUUUUU?

We should be seeing a yellow bridgestone e6 soon if i heard correctly. It was in the edwin watts podcast about new equipment about Ping i believe.

Japan has several companies that make yellow, orange and red (fuscia) balls. Bridgestone's Tourstage brand makes several versions of the 3 colors that compete with Prov1; and several colors and versions in the distance-ball category.

US has very limited selection again. :(

I've seen this being sold over in SMT but haven't really tried it. What's the general feel on this ball versus Srixon off the driver and wedge??

I took part in the test pilot program for the Vision balls. They feel great off the driver and the irons. Very hot off the putter, but doing a little work on the practice green resolves this in a hurry. Wedges are not going to be as spinny as a urethane covered ball. You need to plan for more roll after the shot. Full wedge shots will get them to check and back-up, but less then that they will release. Ordered 3 doz after the demo program...

Color and Boz (the owner) are both truly amazing though.

I've known that SMT had the vision balls, but I've never tried them. How do they play? Comparable OEM ball?
