Tour Issue Taylormade Superfast V1 with Motore F1 Test Proto 2.0 X (used by Dustin Johnson) **DESPER

I am selling this for a buddy of mine. He is friends with Dustin Johnson (far fetched I know but he is a trusted source).....they played high school golf against each other and still hangout together when Dustin comes back to Columbia. Dustin gave him this driver a few years ago. He is looking to get rid of it because he got another driver and needs money for tournament entry fees.

It is a Taylormade Superfast V1 10.5* head. He said DJ used it on tour back in 2009 for a short time. The head is 2*-3* open and it has some bend paint chips on the hosel. It doesn't have a serial number but has the + sign on the hosel to signify that it is .cor tested

The shaft in it is what sets it apart. I have seen a lot of shaft in the past 5 years since I have been buying and selling clubs but have never seen anything like this. It is a Fujikura Motore F1 2.0 Test Proto X flex with the initials "DJ" on it (further signifying it was Dustin Johnson's). DJ has been using the Motore F1 2.0 for several years now. This was probably the first Mortore 2.0 that he tested since it is a "Test Proto" and was made for him. Has a cool looking matte black finish to it with the graphics etched in a dark font, so it is hard to make out the shaft from a distance (so people can't capture it in photos).

Not sure on the tipping but from what I have read, DJ plays this shaft tipped an inch.

I think the big thing is afford a non TP head for $800, in my little world he is fast but not lightning fast. Long but not eye popping, Rory hits it harder than DJ...not trying to thread jack or argue either just saying, and that is one bad mama jamma that I do wish I could afford GLWS that thing is a beaut!!

How does DJ hit a 10.5* driver?

He tends to hit the ball pretty low.

Since the face is open 2-3 degrees. The effective loft brings it down to 7.5-8.5 degree at square impact.

Sorry but not how it works, the head was originally a 10.5 that was bent 2-3 degrees open. So if loft is just measured it will actually be between 12.5-13.5 but with square impact it will be 10.5 again. Sorry for the thread jack, good luck with the sale!

Each degree OPEN the face is, the effective loft goes DOWN .6 degrees (or there abouts). So if this club is 10.5* and is open 2*, the effective loft is ~ 9.3*
