I've got a set and love them. Just a beautiful clean design and very playable for a full set of blades.
As I stated in another thread they are not too compact, have a touch of offset and the blade length is just perfect to my eye.
The impact sound and feel is really soft and solid also.
I don't play mine full time as I have plenty of iron sets to chose from but when I want to play a blade these are never far away from the bag.

Hopefully i can remove the heads and make a new set with them, not sure what shafts would be good for me but these are way nicer to hit than the miura retro blades i have that are way out of my league lol. I swear they feel better than my Miura's and are a tie with my X blade cb although the x blades are more forgiving. I took them into a golf town and the lofts are strong so dont know if they were bent. I would also love to have the 3 and 4 iron but havent found them yet, a 3 and 4 that makes sense as a combo would be even better but not sure. The fitter at golf town also said that they dont look like a good forge but they sure as hell feel like it.

Thanks for any feedback

Probably because of the graphics and how the paintfill looks?

One major detail that could be contributing to their solid feel, is that the Snake Eyes blades were designed with a very low COG. Meaning the sweetspot (COG) is lower on the clubface than many other designs. For many players, this makes the sweetspot easier to "find" on a consistent basis

That would explain why I find mine fairly forgiving and produce a pretty high flight.
Thanks for your contribution. I always find your posts interesting and knowledgeable.

No. The Vaderson Snake Eyes have "Smith & Wesson' on the back of the blade.
I know I'll be decried as a heretic, but the Ernie Vaderson Snake Eyes blades had too much offset for my taste. I like the Sheets designed blades more.

Taylormade Sim2 10.5° (turned down to 9°) - Tensei White 60 stiff

Ping G400 3 and 5 Woods - Diamana D+ Limited 70 stiff

Ping G400 22° Hybrid - Diamana D+ 90 Stiff

Ping i200 5-UW - Modus Tour 105 stiff

Vokey SM4 54° and 58° - DGS-300

DUDE! My x-blades are like them alot actually if you look at the x blade cb 2008 by Tourstage you will notice that they are obviously a cb not a blade but that there is a great deal of weight near the sole, similar to the 600 b which is all lower half of the iron as far as weight is concerned. Those new 715mbT irons are like them a bit as well with that tungsten chink right on the sole. I know way less than most of the guys on here but I don not really think there is anything like those Snake Eyes today other than maybe the Bridgestone J15 cb or mb. The thing is the snakes look like a traditional a blade as you can get but you quickly notice the heads are alot bigger then normal and that they are easy to get in the air and really forgiving on off center hits, these things are sleepers big time.and by the way I am currently taking the heads off the botched job that they were and i will have 600b snakes with c tapers and iomic grips and I have another set of 5-AW that I bought on ebay coming, they should be stock everything so anyone interested let me know. Also open to any ideas.

Thanks all,

Caerus

This is absolutely correct and was a big surprise to me when I first hit my set. I concur completely and have been posting about this every chance I get for quite a while now.
