What happened to tksputters? Clicked on the site and it doesn't have any putters for sale? Just wanted to know if anyone else might know what happened?

From the looks of things it looks like there will not be any more Betti's on TKS. Isn't Betti using someone else now?

Todd liquidated his collection. There are rumours doing the rounds but I'm not sure what is true and what is speculation. I have heard he was not happy with the pricing structure Bettinardi have enforced. Whatever has happened TKS no longer seems to exist.

    www.rjbcollector.com

These seem to be the main guys now.

The people who know aren't talking--which is probably the way it should be.

Hmm...I noticed the same thing on his website a few days ago. I'm sure there are the reasons, but it'll leave me sad as I had a great experience with him. I bought my Betti BB8 3-slot tour (hand-stamped) from Todd and he was great to work with.

Well I guess that answers it. No one really knows anything and those that do know aren't saying anything. Thanks for the info. Like I said I was just curious as to what happened because I always loved the stuff on the site

The TKSputters website still has merchandise and appears to be in business, but I just sent Todd an email with a question and got a quick, curt reply to the effect that he is out of the business and has nothing to sell. image/huh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':drinks:' />

You must have reached some type of legacy website. His current website has no merchandise for sale and he is no longer affilated with Bettinardi.

www.tksputters.com - there is more Bettinardi merchandise on there than you can shake a putter at. Contact info., you name it. That's why I emailed him. I had a question about the original BB-41 grip and headcover, and if he had it.

What do I know? I'm just a noob.

Try clearing your cache and seeing what happens. Very likely you've been there before and your computer has a saved version of the page because the page literally has nothing about Bettinardi on it now. Just pics of Todd and a few sports celebs.

What merchandise are you talking about? There's nothing there but a homepage advertising services being offered.

Did you reach those web pages using Google? If so, they're the old web pages still residing on the server. If you go directly to tksputters.com, you'll see that there is no link to putters for sale, unless you're using a cached version of the website.

The original BB-41 came with the burgundy corded grip. I think Bettinardi.com may still have it for sale. The original HC was either the burgundy velour or regular burgundy A&M velcro HC with Millenium stitched on them. You may want to check with Jimmy (bettinardiltd.com) or Nick (rjbcollector.com) to see if they have any available. Those HCs are hard to find new or "nused". I have them on my BB-43s and BB-41s. Did you just pick up a BB-41? Great putter. You should put a Bettinardi leather stitchback grip on it.

    Thank you for the responses.

Yes, I did end up at tks through google. Absolutley love his merchandise, but thought the prices were a little extreme.

And yes, I did just do the ebay thing for two BB putters, a BB-8, which I have in my posession, and a BB-41, which hopefully I'll receive soon. Two nice BB models, I learned through my research.

The BB-8 is 35" and has a couple of very small dings on the top, rear and face, but the sole is beautiful and the it rolls the ball like a dream. It has the burgundy cord grip. If I keep it, I'll have it cut down to 33", which is my size.

The BB-41, that I haven't yet received yet, is 33". It looks really good in the photos. Just like Todd's on TKS. I'm hoping that everything works out on this one. I was inquiring about the grip and headcover, because I want to make it like it came out in 2000.

    Thanks for indulging me.

I to tried to email Todd with no response. I just think that enough people have spent a nice bit of coin and could have atleast had some structured email he could have sent to leave his customers not wondering. Just my 2 cents!!
