Wedge Stamping & Paintfill

I am sorry to rehash old topics. i have a set of Raw SM6's coming and want to try stamping and filling them. I've done my research, and while the snow stamp from Vokey is hand stamped, the position of each set seems very similar. In my research, I found several old forums listing 1/8" stamps and where to buy them. However, the links are old and are no longer valid.

 

1) What are the best wedge stamps to use? Links would be appreciated.

 

2) I have found a great deal of information on paint fill here. Unfortunately, like above, the links are a little dated. If anyone could also provide links to the best paint fill I would appreciate it.

for hardness, stick to 2-part polyurethane or 2-part epoxy paint such as this

add a couple drops of hardner to a micro batch for this

Thank you for the links! As for the stamps, what version would you say they use? To me, I would assume the standard or heavy duty but I would rather be sure.

You want to do it even though you get free stamping from Vokey with the SM6 Raws? Unless you want the snow which understandbly is $25 a wedge but I believe the parts & paint will cost you $60.

With stamps, like most everything in life, you get what you pay for. Young Bros. (http://www.youngbrosstampworks.com/index.html) is the name most commonly thrown around with regards to quality. As for the size, this is 1/8", which would work for snow initials, but I want to say Vokey goes a bit smaller.

I bought a 20 dollar set on Amazon and they worked great! Colored it in with fingernail polish!

I've used the Harbor Freight set for 10+ years without any issues. Just use 2 sided grip tape to hold the stamp in place and you're all set.
