Does any other manufacturer make a set of shafts like AMT that get lighter as the club gets longer or is TrueTemper it?

Ping AWT, both the original version and the 2.0. Recoil 95/110's are ascending weight too, but to a lesser degree than these other clubs. With the Recoils the swingweights go up into the shorter clubs, so the balance point is not raised to compensate for the greater weight.

Little change of topic but what compares with short iron weighted AWT 2.0 shaft? Constant weight version or equivalent....

I'm not sure which shaft compares but for what it's worth, these are the weights from a set of AWT 2.0's from some G irons (stolen from a post I made in an earlier thread).

 

AWT 2.0 Stiff w/grips: 154 - 163.5 grams (increasing from 4 to P/U)

What shaft weight range and flight pattern do you seek?

We can make a set Ascending WGT by mixing shaft blanks, and combine SS2 with SS1 and strait in to take advantage of the weight loss we have on constant wgt when we soft step.( some numbers as 3/8" set)

 

DGX100 can be made with a slope of 5.7 Grams so we get a #3 iron slightly below 125 grams.

 

DGS can be made the same way, and if we combine S200 with s300 and S400 we get a Ascending slope of about 10 grams where we can say the #3 iron shaft becomes 121 grams compared to another Constant wgt taper

 

We can also use RIFLE FCM and KBS Tour Parallels, so it depends on what weight range, how large weight difference you want from from 3-Pw, and what flight pattern you want.

Why not go with the AMT shafts? Doesn't matter to me, but I'm curious why you're looking elsewhere.
