Can anyone compare x100 vs dg spinner?

I hit a lot of full shots with my wedges. I carry 46, 50, 54,60,64. Mainly concerned with accuracy and lower traj.

Flex wise the DG Spinner is in the S flex range, while Spinner PLUS is in the X flex range, but most players i deal with prefer DG X100 if the actual club is played to full swing.
Not that it makes a large difference, but you can tip trim X100 tapers 3/8 as a slight adjustment who makes them 3 cpm stronger.

Howard nailed it.

Full swing X100 you want to match your set.

My 52/56/64 have spinners. But I put the Plus flex in 52/56, I take aggressive check swings.

I really like mine for feel and flight. Then again, I don't play X100 so I doubt I' go there.

Used to have S400 and these play very close but stay penetrating whereas the old s400 was known to climb and balloon.

I'd try it in the short wedges first, and if you are going for gap and swing hard 56, i'd recommen the plus flex. PW I would match your iron set.

I am currently tinkering around with 3 sets of wedges (54 and 60). I originally put DG spinner tipped 1/2 inch in one set and loved them. I added lead tape to feel the head more because wedge flex is 124 grams I think. Put a wedge plus in another set and straight wedge in another. I have different bounces and different grinds and trying to find exactly what I like.

Does anyone know the fcm for standard length...

1. DG spinner wedge

2. Wedge plus?

Once I know I can figure out what the tipped ones are. I don't have a way to test it for another week and I would like to know.

X-100 was a game changer for my short game when I switched from wedge flex/S200. The ability to avoid ballooning on full shots and trajectory control on partial shots was worth the miniscule reduction in spin on partial shots.

I’m currently playing a dg spinner plus in my 46,50,54 and 59 deg wedges. I play Dg Tour issue X100 in my irons. If I were looking to find another shaft comparable to the spinner plus seeing as Ive not found any spinner plus shafts available lately, would you recommend the Dg tour issue X100 shafts in my 46 and 50 bc of the fuller swings? Would I do the S400 on the 56 and 60 since I’m not as aggressive with them? What would the difference in ball flight, spin and control be if I do make the switch? Is there another shaft you’d recommend?

I've never had a poorer match for my swing than the Spinners. I couldn't get rid of them fast enough. Would get some dramatic flyers right out of the fairway, like 15-20 yards over the back of the green. Like...what? It was inexplicable.

For Wedges we want a higher start weight than for irons, since we loose shaft weight into wedges, and that means DG TOUR ISSUE is not the one, the regular DG X100 is to the "heavy side" of X100, while Tour Issue is the lightest

DG X100 Tour issue = 129.5 to 130.5 grams.

DG X100 standard = 129.5 up to 131.5 grams

.... but since the lightest is sorted out to be TI, the regular is mostly to the heavy side and they are also lower priced, so there is no reason to pay for TI sorting here.

Its the same for S400, the Tour Issue sorting makes Ti to be 131.5 to 132.5 grams, while the standard is 131.5 to 133.5, so again, the "heavy ones" is to find in the standard box to lower prices.

Spinner PLUS was 135 grams if i recall right.....
