First ever eagle!

Hey guys I'm a senior in highschool and was pretty excited because I just hit my first ever eagle on a par 4, of course I've had a few on par 5's but never a par 4. I had hit a solid drive and had 150 yards into a hole. I grabbed my 9 iron and lined up dead with the flag and put a good swing on it. The ball slowly drew at the flag, landed about 5ft short and rolled into the hole! I was so excited so I just thought I'd share with you guys and see how many other juniors have holed out for eagle.

ive never holed out for one on a par 4 but i have had one after hitting the green in one
that still stands as my only eagle on a par 4

hit the flagstick with a pitch the other day and im surprised it didnt drop so i still only have one

I have done this once from about 68 yards out on a par 4. Ive had one on a par five and had a few good chances last year but nothing for the past two years.

I've had a few on short par 4s that I've driven, I've also had two chip ins, but no real hole outs.

Actually one time on a 300 yd par 4, I drove the green in one, put it to 10 ft and my buddy laid up with a 5 iron and holed out with a 50* wedge. Then I sunk the 10 footer, it was pretty cool

I also had eagle on a par 4 for the first time yesterday. It wasnt as impressive as some of the others because it was a short 300yd par 4. Hit my tee shot short of the green on the right. It was a back pin location on an elevated green. I hit my pitch up into the slope..it takes two bounces..hits the right edge of the hole and twirls around the stick then drops. I just threw my hands up and said "Yesssssssss!"

Never had one on a par 4 my first was on a par 5. did a monster first drive, underclubbed my second and was about 1 yard off the fringe. pull out a 9 iron for a 50 yard bump and run. i skull the ball and it proceeds toward the pin at a very uncomfortable speed. i hit the marker and in it goes. had it missed the marker i would have ended in the water. that was my first. i still have the ball.

my wife had one in a par 4. she pulls out her 7 iron for her 2nd shot. drives it into the ob. takes her mulligan( we allow ourselves 1 per 9) her mulligan 2nd shot doesnt touch net and lands straight at the hole for her 1st eagle. i tease her all the time and call it a mulligan eagle.

I am a sophmore in high school. I also had my first eagle two weeks ago on a par 4. I have big drives for my age (hit 365 last week, and have never been outdrove in a meet). I hit 5 yards over on the par 4, and chipped in. I almost had another yesterday in a tourney. 291 yard par 4, almost straight uphill. That hill had to have been at least 30 yards above the tee box, i ended up 5 yards short, chip was short, but birdied out...

I am 20 now so not really a junior but during my junior years holed out a few times, sw for eagle twice, 5 iron for eagle, 8 iron for hole in one which i suppose also counts. Hold out a 9 iron for birdie after pitching out of trees which was nice. Like some guys saying here holed a few putts for eagle, did that on a par 4 once 2ce in 4 attempts playing it, had birdie the other two, very lucky! It is a great feeling when it happens and I hope my next one is coming soon. Congrats on your first and keep them coming!

I made one from the rough for a bogey 5. Drove OB, re-teed and drove it left in deep rough but alive. Hacked it out of knee-high rough, about 40 yards, was so angry I didn't go get a different club, so I hit a half-swing 6 iron that rolled straight into the hole.

First off congrats!!!!!! I have had a few...okay 6 but no hole-in-ones grrrr. Did it today drove it to about 80 yards one hop in. Next hole bogey. Next hole another eagle!!!! Next hole another crowd pleasing bogey.....next 14 holes=14 pars for a crowd pleasin two under 68 haha. Keep up the good work man

way to go bud. when i was 14 i had my first hole in one. i had never holed out from more than 15 yards before. a week later i holed one from 150 for a deuce (from the trees). they'll start coming more often, though it's been about 4 years since i've holed one from more than 90.

I had me one just recently. Had great drive on our 375 par 4. Only had about 150 left too. Went straight at it and rolled right in!

Congrats.. I still remember mine.. 400 yard par 4, Hit a decent drive had 145 in. Nice 8 iron right in the cup

Congrats! Sinking an eagle from 150 yards out must be an amazing feeling, I've never had one like it, but I've rolled in a couple of eagle putts, great stuff. Keep on playing, who knows when that first hole in one will come.

Ive had eagles on par 5 before, chipped/pitched in a couple of times, and holed some eagle putts on short par 4s and 5s. But my best was on the 9th at my club, its a short par 4 (256yards) and i holed out with 3 wood for an double-eagle when i was 17, during a medal as well. i didnt see it go in though lol

Ive had a few eagles at par 4. Couple weeks ago almost putted one in, 320 yard par 4, had a little downwind, and hit a high launching drive straight to the flag. There were two bunkers in front of the green, one left, one right, and a little room in the middle to go to the flag. My drive bounced right from that area to the green, about 8 feet short of the flag, and i missed the putt.
