Neo won't sync.

I bought a Bushnell Neo from Rockbottom golf recently and have tried everything I know to get it to sync with no success. It does connect to the Sync software but when I try to transfer a course to the unit the send button wont light up.

I know that a lot of people have had this problem from browsing the results on Google and some of the threads here but I have'nt seen one definitive fix.

Anyone got one.?

so you get the successful connect and can browse the device, just not sync?

Have you tried initiating the sync from the device.... Mine is at the club, but I'm pretty sure it's in the menu options there.

Do you have the most recent software version? You can get it from this page:

i had a similar problem and had Microsoft search for the USB driver and reinstall it. Worked after that.

yeah, I'd say install/reinstall the proper driver... if that doesn't work try reinstalling the software

When you say you had Microsoft search for the USB driver did you email microsoft and ask them?

Are you using a Windows 7 computer? You can download a driver from Bushnell's website that will work with Windows 7. If not, your guess is as good as mine.

I had an issue with my Neo and Macintosh (My fault, I didn't read the instructions and assumed I didn't need to install the serial driver if I installed the USB driver.). But what I really want to tell you is that I called the support number and got immediate help. Have you tried doing that?

I called the distributor here in Australia and they were no help, I was trying to avoid an overseas call but it's going to have to be my next move.

Having trouble with my bushnell neo. I just got a new computer. I had the bushnell installed on my old computer and now the device won't connect and I can't see my courses.

I have two problems...

1. When I log in to the sync, it is just searching for my device and won't connect.
2. I can't see any of my old courses. Did I lose them all when I got a new computer? I thought they were attached to my account.

The only problem I ever had seemed to be an issue with the browser. I would try running the serial driver and make sure your using IE.

I downloaded the serial driver, but not sure if I'm running it. Not sure what IE is. I'm a Mac.

Read this for Mac http://www.igolf.com/talk/main.html?section=topic&topicid=342&mode=viewall Also will work with Safari and appears to work with FF4 but not FF3. Help at Bushnell is outstanding but don't waste your time calling Igolf they are worthless based on my efforts with them.

I had an issue when I went from XP to windows 7......wouldn't let me upload courses.

iGolf was very helpful......I talked with support then they emailed a fix.......no issues since then.
