yes.. some time ago, LaMont made a test putter for some other lefty... just can't remember his name right now, but this dude has been known to use an Odyssey #9 with various degrees of success. He's the guy that wrote the book "How to play the final nine of the US Open with synaptic assistance." Not knocking him since obviously he's gotten a lot closer than me. My only notable act at a US Open was getting my ticket stub punched at Pinehurst...

anyway, LaMont said he had turned out 3 heads while making the proto, and I'm lucky enough to be getting #2. I'm not sure if the third is spoken for, but I'm sure he'd be happy to churn out another.. Switching my stroke (after getting the 2nd lap) has been the best thing for my golf game since the introduction of the metal wood, and now I seem to be able to use almost any style to get a decent roll. Is it just me, or does having a quality tool predispose you to a better stroke?
