I for one have a closet full of winter acquisitions that I've yet to be able to try out because this godforsaken winter will never end.

It's going to be sunny and 61F where I live in Japan, so I'm going to go hit some balls today with my JDM clubs because it's going to be hotter tomorrow, and I'm playing with my JDM clubs tomorrow. Ahar!

My sympathies. 90-degrees here in Southern Calif yesterday. Aside from the earthquakes, it's been the best winter for golf in memory. OTOH, there's a certain pleasure in getting something new and having to sit and just look at it for a while before you can hit it... right...? (Good things come to those who wait... and all that...)

I consider many fellow GolfWrx members as something more than acquaintances....I'd go so far to say that a few are friends. Although we've never met or even talked on the phone. Fellow enthusiaists....united by a common bound of love of golf and equipment.

Keeping in mind the above statement - I have to say something.

It sleeted again last night [b][i]AND[/i][/b] I got an email from the club telling me that although it's finally gonna be in the 60s this week....Greenstaff is going to aerate Tueday & Wednesday.

I lost my L.A. Priviledges in the 90s....but if this winter continues - [i]I might just risk it. [/i]

My luck we'd tee it up at Riviera just in time for another quake and I'd be swalloed by a sink hole in the middle of the 10th fairway.

The only good thing about this terrible winter is that I finally joined the JDM group. I bought a set of legacy blacks last night.
After this brutal winter we've all had, I'd say we're due for a great summer of golf!

Just play a round at Troon North about 2 weeks ago on a short visit to Sedona and Scottsdale. It was expensive but figure just once for the memory.

If it makes you feel any better, I live the Wash DC area and we have had 12 inches of snow 2 weeks ago and 9 inches Monday. Unheard of to get this much snow in March around here (we rarely get any in March).
THe good news is we had GREAT MELTING YESTERDAY and the rain today should wash the rest of it out for the Sunny and 60 degree days Friday thru SUnday. Yet .... Another winter storm is coming next Tuesday... THIS WINTER WONT DIE.
