Thanks for the welcome brl11. I am actually a member at Runcorn Golf Club. Joined 6 months ago after a 4 year absence from the game. Was a member at a course in Liverpool called Eccleston Park before the birth of my son forced me to prioritise finances!

Im from just over the boarder in prestatyn,north wales not far from you...im a member at 3 clubs rhuddlan,st melyd,prestatyn i doubt you have heard of any of them....LOL

That was a tough beat against UTD for sure. Your lads held their own for the first 90 though. Should have sent on Pennant and Crouch earlier IMO. Pennant was flying all over the pitch!

I was a bit puzzled by Kuyt's lack of effort on that ball accross the goal mouth. I know that there was some pace on it, but when you come that far into the box and you're staring at the open net, at least make a lunge at it. The worst that could happen is you give up a goal kick.

Btw, i have only ever played once in Wales at Llangollen (not sure if spelt correctly), was a great course. I have heard of Rhuddlan and Prestatyn but not St Melyd.

I've only just come across this thread. I'm originally from Mossley hill and play Allerton golf course (loosly described) every Sunday. Moved over to the Wirral 6 or 7 years ago. Nice to know there are a few scousers on this site.
