Been lurking for a few months now and decided I needed to sign up. A little about my self. I am 32 years old and have been playing since I was 5 years old. I am a junky for this game. I also love the equipment almost as much as I love to go out and play. I live in Fort Worth, TX. I currently play to an 8, but have been as low as a 1 (Highschool playing every day man how I long to be able to go out every day). I play mostly local public course, Hawkscreek, Texas Star, and waterchase are some of my favorites. I also manage to play Ridglea CC a couple times a month and Colonial a few time a year.

 

Traveling and playing is also one of my passions. Me and my dad try to take a trip every year. This has enabled me to play some truely great golf over the last few years. Last year was Pebble and Spyglass. Year before that was Pinehurst. This year it will be Bandon Dunes. These trips are great and we whined up getting out of the texas heat for a week as we normally go late in the summer.

 

I was also lucky enough to grow up around my second biggest golf hero Ben Hogan (my dad was #1), and to know that he was my great uncle bring me pride every day. It was a great experience having him around, even though I was pretty young.

Thanks. Yeah I wish I hit every drive over 300, but lucky enough that I occasionally get one out there.

Yes he was. I even find my self saying wow when I think about it. My only wish is that I wasn't quite so young so I could of had more time to really get to know him.
