Hello from Philippines

Hey Everyone,

 

Just joined yesterday and decided to post and introduce myself. I live in the Philippines and have been golfing for 18 months now.

Used to play cricket and those bad habits got carried over into golf. (Very active lower body!!!!)

Still learning the nuances of the game. I have brought my handicap down to a level where it fluctuates between 14-19 depending on how well I drive the ball. Looking forward to contributing to this site and learning..

i am from the Philippines and currently stay in the Subic Bay Freeport and have been playing golf for 56 years now-----and counting!!

you're probably among the very few who even knows how cricket is played around here!!

..yes they did but a few holes are still a bit rough....fairway wise..

..but big improvement compared to the past few years...specially the greens.

Maybe, its time for me to give it a go one of these days!!
It would have been great if I had taken up golf 4 years ago when I was in Clark, Pampanga. Now, its a 2 hours ride from Manila..
