Not getting much love on the other side

I occasionally make the odd pilgrimage into the other side of the forum in the hope of making a new convert. Unfortunately, I'm not sure my pilgrimages have been all that fruitful.

Something about a horse, water, and yadda-yadda.

The forum at large is populated with a large number of younguns who weren't born when those clubs were originally produced. Most are still fully embraced by the marketing, and think Ping or TP Mills copied Scotty Cameron. LOL

Yep, when you say you play with blades and persimmon, a lot of folks give you a confused look and say "Why?"

One thing I say sometimes that some understand is that it is like hunting with a muzzle loader or archery equipment. Those that also hunt might say "Oh, okay."

Most folks can't handle or understand the quest for that 1 or 3 shots in a round that fly off the sweetspot of the iron or crack off the face of the wood. If you mention those pleasures they look at you like you are weird. Which I am, but just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you as it is said. (LOL)

Not so sure about that.
I used to think the same thing but after paying attention more to posters stated ages there are many over 50. Also the over 50's seem more prolific. Something to do with not being as busy with work and family I suspect.
