2014 Titleist Staff Stand Bag vs. 2014 Ogio Grom

I'm looking into buying a new golf stand bag and I can't decide which one I like.

 

I'm leaning towards the Titleist bag but my only concern is the 4 way dividers versus the 14 way club management the Ogio bag has.

 

Can any of you guys help me out and tell me what you like and dislike about each bag?

I already have the chamber, both the 2013 and 2014 model. Looking for a stand bag.

I had the Grom, didnt like that ball holder thing. And also didn't like how the ball bag thingy didnt stay closed once I had it for a while. A zipper makes a lot more sense. But, I did like the 14 way divider of the bag.

With that said, I just picked up the Staff Stand Bag and love everything about it. Hoping the 4 way divider doesnt drive me crazy or slowly ruin the grips since they rub in the bag.

I have the 2013 Grom and love it. The zipperless ball pocket has actually been pretty good for me. It still stays shut pretty tight and seem like it will last for some time. I really like having the 14 way top as i can tell if i accidentally left a wedge on the green. Its easy to pull clubs and you dont have to take a second look to try and find the club you want. My only complaint is that it doesnt have a putter well. I use the very top center slot for my putter but it barely fits. I have a SS 3.0 slim and it is a tight fit. I have to rotate the club so that the flat part of the grip faces up in order to slide it out without catching. I have a feeling that eventually that the fabric in that slot is going to wear out from the grip rubbing going in and out. I am still trying to mess around with the club layout as well. I dont like how the headcovers for the driver/wood/hybrids kind of hang over some of the clubs. Makes it a little tough trying to get them out of the bag. I have to push the clubs on top to get them out of the way. The construction of the bag is great though. All of the zippers and legs are holding up well with no sign of wear. I may have to grease the legs though because it can be tough to get them to fully extend. I kind of have to push down on the bag to get the legs to extend all the way out.

How do you like the chamber bag? Do you have a problem with the locking device eating the ends of the grips? I was interested in getting a Silencer bag but wont get it if it eats the grips. i have Iomic sticky grips and it would be too expensive if i had to replace them just because the bag eats the ends off of them.

I haven't noticed the silencer eating the grips.

I've used Ogio Chamber bags for the past 3 years. I've not experienced any issues with the locking device eating into the ends of the grip. If you have white/light grips, they will get dirty nonetheless near the end caps.

Just picked up the Titleist Staff Stand Bag. IMO sharpest one on the market, ever.

I just ordered the staff stand bag myself. To me it's the best looking stand bag I've ever seen. I just hope it looks as good in person.

Well I got the staff stand bag in today and I can verify that it indeed does look as good or better in person. Best looking stand bag ever made IMHO. I love the concept of the staff stand. It really does look like a staff bag with legs. My only complaint is it needs 2 more pockets and a better looking rain cover. Great looking bag though. Well done titleist!
