Solid Player lacking consistency

Just wanted to post my swing video real quick. I'm an 9 handicap that just lacks the consistency I would like in my swing/ball striking. Don't really have a set miss, just sporadic off the face at times. Problems I have been told in the past are getting up on my toes and failing to rotate/fire my hips through. Obviously the video shows I have a very steep swing. My biggest complaint with my swing is I could go out and hit 15 GIR today and 2 GIR tomorrow and have no idea or reason why.

I know that, but doesn't mean I don't want to improve. Sure I could spend a lot more time putting and chipping to help lower that number, but I would like to make solid contact more often as well. Hence why I'm asking for advice on a swing video, not justification for my handicap index.

A little over the top and steep, but not awful. It looks like your upper body is hanging back a lot on the downswing, which makes you flip through impact with your hands and arms. I do the same thing from time to time, and end up hitting a lot of hooks, mostly with driver/3 wood. To combat this I always want to finish with my chest facing the target, and when my hands come down from the top they end up at my left hip. Just my observations, I'm no expert by any means. I will always believe that lessons from a pro are the way to go whenever possible.

Thanks for the analysis Ayoung. The flipping is something I have noticed by watching the video as well, but can't feel in my swing. Need to get rid of that.
