Wonder how these go through the turf after seeing the bounce, or rather, the lack of it. From comments, it seems they've blunted the leading edge and tried to place any bounce towards the front to prevent digging. Still... I think too many only look at the cavity for forgiveness. Just as important is the grind. Have a set of PP-9003 and while they are fine clubs, demoed the Callaway X Forged - easier through the turf, demoed the Edel CB - even better, and own the Edel and Miura. Miura's kryptonite has always been grind. Just remember to check how the clubhead goes through the turf.
Good point, and something I fail to consider as well when shopping for irons...my divots have been very consistently shallow, as if the clubhead simply glides through the top layer of turf and no deeper. I haven't had a single instance of the clubhead digging, especially when I hit slightly or moderately behind the ball.

I have been really impressed with the turf interaction of the 57s that I've hit so far .
They perform better for me than my PP Straught Necks .

I'm itching to try the 57 now. I have the 501s and love the solid feel of the iron. I also have a set of mizuno mp 4 from yoro craft and thought there could be nothing better than the soft mizuno feel. After just finishing a round with my mizunos, I must say I like my miuras more. Damn shame since I never thought I would get rid of my mizunos but I may now just to pick up the 57s.

In no way a negative against the 57 but I finally got my 3 iron shafted up and took it up to Detroit to hit some balls. I will say as far as aesthetics go the 57 is beautiful. But as for performing against my 2011 onoff forged 3 iron I will take the onoff all day. Gave up trying to find a vega 3 iron for my cavity backs and mb's so by good fortune came across the onoff as a throw in on a deal. Some throw in! Just a great club. I look down on it and I just know I'm going to rip it. Don't have that same feeling with the 57, it just does not inspire the same confidence at address _for me_. But the jury is still out. I will give it a good go if this snow ever takes a hike. I missed out on a 4-pw head set of onoff's a couple weeks ago. I would have bought them just to see what the rest of the set would play like. If it is anything at all like the 3 iron I shockingly might have to consider chucking my beloved Vegas,.

I didn't see it but easily might have missed it. The miura website doesn't list the offset. Can anyone post a pic at address with a 5 and 9 please

A Ping i25 3 iron has offset of .24"offset. So the CB 57 has much more offset than the Ping?

Am loving the PW !
It's really highlighted to me how much I prefer the CB 57s over the PP9003 SNs .
You're telling me, my first few months it seemed like I couldn't miss with the pw, always pin high seemed like, I've since cooled off. Yesterday I had 100 to the pin into the wind, I hit a low knockdown to about 8 feet past the pin for birdie, didn't sink the putt, but that was the shot of the round.

2 rounds in with my CB 57. When you hit it pure they feel great. And when you miss you feel that as well. I tend to be a "sweeper" and my miss in the 2 rounds was certainly thin. I am coming out of the MC 102. These are very good looking clubs.

I would say your still tuning them in Mate .
Trust me , once you dial them in they're in a league of their own !
These are the best irons I've ever gamed .
You're right about the pure strike , once you find it , its a feeling that you'll crave every time you swing the club .
That constant mission to replicate a pure strike has improved my game .
I hope you get the same with yours CGM .

Batman1971,

Things are moving along nicely with the new set. 4 rounds under my belt and I broke 80 over the weekend. As other posters have mentioned the PW is becoming a favorite club in this set.
That's awesome to hear that you've cracked 80 with the 57s after only 4 rounds with them Mate !
I'm seriously going stir crazy over here in Sydney as we've had more rain than Noah !
However , it looks like the courses are going to reopen for the weekend .
That PW is a totally sweet ride !
I left mine at its loft of 47* and I just can't express how good it is !
I've had a bunch of sets over the years but the 57 PW is the best I've ever had !
I can't wait to find myself 110 - 120 out from the green .

On par 5's I'll lay up with a mid iron instead of going with a 3 wood just to use the pw for birdie opportunity.
The PW is good....and that is something that I rarely pay attention to when buying a set of clubs.

Still having trouble keeping the ball down but it'll get better as I get in better golf shape.

If the "Bottom of Bore to Ground" distance and head weights are the same as your TBs they should play the same. If either is greater, the shafts will play softer and launch higher.
Did the finished length and or swingweight change from when the shafts were in the TBs?
