Anyone Else Having Issues w/ Ecco Biom Hybrids?

Sure - good idea. Worse comes to worst - call Ecco.

Remember the receipt itself is not the point - but it serves to prove 2 things necessary to any warranty claim:
1) that you are the owner (as opposed to acquiring them illegally or illegitimately....you didn't steal them; and you didn't buy stolen or bogus shoes)
2) ascertain the date from which the warranty starts.

If they insist they need that actual piece of paper/receipt - then ask to speak with a manager or have them call Ecco while you're standing there. If you actually have that information - I honestly can't see how they can deny your claim - unless they are inept or lazy; or unless you're being dishonest (and you don't sound like you are at all) or the shoes aren't actually warranteed. Good luck with it.

I have three pairs, one in reserve and two in active rotation.

I love these shoes, they are extremely comfortable and can be worn both on and off the course.

In fact, I now keep my golf shoes at home (instead of at the club) so I can wear these to/from the course.

However, I do not think these shoes are waterproof and would not wear them in very rainy conditions. I would also not wear sneakers on a rainy hike.

I wear mine in fair weather and find them to be water resistant as I do play in the early morning and there is a lot of dew on the ground. My feet are always dry in these circumstances.

One would have to be crazy to wear these in heavy rain conditions (such as Bandon). Its just not what they were made for.

I want to give praise to Golf Galaxy on this one. They were the store I bought the shoes from, so that's where I started. Took them in Sunday afternoon late in the day, so it was slow. The first guy I saw asked how I was doing, then saw the shoes in my hands and asked if there was a problem. I explained that I bought them there earlier this year and they leak. I explained that I had no receipt and it didn't look like the guy who fit/sold them to me was around anymore (he went to work for the GolfSmith that just opened right down the street).

The nice young guy from GG explained they would have no problem exchanging them, but I would only get the highest price offered in the last 6 months. This wasn't a problem for me, as I expected them to ask for a receipt or tell me to keep walking. Apparently these were on sale at some point for $100, because that's what they offered even though they are currently selling for $130ish.

I was so happy that they were willing to take them without a receipt, and gave me store credit instead of doing a straight out swap for the same shoe. I've had Adidas Tour 360s in the past, and they were on clearance for $97, so I got a pair of those and used the $3 credit towards a Tin Cup ball marker I'd been wanting to buy anyway.

Wow, I just burnt 10 min reading something I thought was a current Ecco issue but turns out the shoes in question have been discontinued for almost a decade 🫠
