Been a lurker for a long time but thought I would register. I am a weekend golfer that used to shoot consistently in the upper 70's when I was in me early 20's. I stopped playing for 18 years and took it up again last year. I worked and worked and shot a 77 this year on a short 6,000 yd course. Got a lesson on the importance of the right shaft and shot a 38 yesterday on the back nine with the new set of irons. I did some swing videos and see a LOT of problems so I bought a huge net and mat for practice over our long cold Wisconsin winter. Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the information I get here. Very cool site!

Here is a shot I paused on during the downswing of me releasing early. Definitely got to fix that lol :o

Welcome. This is a fun site. There are some very knowledgable people here and some who think they are. You'll be able to figure out who to listen to.

I have no pride so no worries on the swing comment. Had a fun weekend. Shot a 47 on the front nine as I was jacked up by a little too much coffee. Back nine I settled down. Was 1 over going into 17 (just for the back) and drove the green. Lag was 3' and lipped out the birdie for a heartbreak then missed the par putt. Ended up double bogey on 18 lol. I am looking forward to getting the net up and really ironing out my swing. I am the kind of guy that will put in the time and look forward to posting up some videos here for help.
