i just played saddiyate in Abu Dhabi right down the road from Dubai, as well as checked out a few others down here, the courses are set up like irish links, and are well maintained and beautiful. Keep the driver in the bag and keep the ball low, this wind can be brutal. i really can't speak for courses in Dubai, but from what i've been told is 90% of middle east courses are links courses. Sand Traps are plentiful, so be ready for those. there are some courses where there is a trap from the tee box to the green, i know saddiyate had several and Yas Links had a few like that too. Enjoy it, this time of year is beautiful down here, just make sure you get out early and pace is big here.

2. Sadiyaat Beach Golf Club
3. Jumeirah Earth Course
4. Abu Dhabi Golf Club
5. Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club
6. Yas Links
7. The Montgomery
8. The Els Club
9. Jumeirah Fire Course
10. Al Badia Golf Club

Keep in mind that these are just my preferences and all of the courses are great tracks. The best way to get a tee time is to call the pro shop or email them.
